Pardon the (virtual) dust. If you subscribe to one of our newsletters, you might have noticed that an email is formatted a little differently from earlier editions! We’ve switched email newsletter service providers. September was the first month we sent a newsletter from the new system.
Received the newsletter and don’t want to get them in the future? You can opt in and out of email news messages in the preference center. To find the preference center, scroll to the bottom of the newsletter in your inbox and select the "Unsubscribe from this newsletter" link.
Once you’re on the preference center page, check the box by each type of news you want to receive. If the box has a check mark in it, you will be subscribed to that newsletter. If you uncheck a box, you will be unsubscribed from the newsletter. If you don’t want to receive any emails about library news, click “Unsubscribe me from all marketing messages.”
If you unsubscribe from the email newsletter, don’t worry: you will still receive account notices and operational emails from the library.
Heads up: the process is a little different for our volunteer newsletter, which is sent to current and former volunteers. You can unsubscribe using the preference center, but you need to subscribe on the Better Impact volunteer website. You can only receive the volunteer newsletter after going through the application and approval process. Our FAQ has a little more information on how to apply to volunteer at the library!

What to expect for future newsletters
Newsletter subscribers will continue to receive messages on their regularly scheduled basis. You might also see other types of emails over the next few months, like library card renewal reminders and information about services or events at your preferred library.
