Meet one-on-one with a friendly, knowledgeable Tech Helper who will help you find answers to questions about mobile devices, websites, getting started with tech, and more.

Appointments are on a first come, first served basis.

Location: Upon entering the library turn left - Community Room 1B 

Toddlers (with a favorite adult) enjoy interactive stories, songs and games that encourage their emerging language skills.

Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime. OR Attendance is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. 

Central Library, beloved by the community since 1913, is now open with modern enhancements for you to enjoy!

Join us for a 45 minutes walking tour through the building.  No registration required.

Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome. 

Learn Hawaiian language, songs and a simple hula dance in a warm, welcoming environment. Located in Community Room 1B. 

May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. In honor of AANHPI month, join library staff in celebrating with programs and workshops at library locations.

Enjoy this musical collaboration brought to you by Sharon Gan (founder of Heart Strings Mandarin and pianist), Dr Jerry Lin (scientist and erhu lover), and Dan Velasquez (talented composer and multi-instrumentalist). The trio will showcase a selection of songs from Asia. Located in the Collins Gallery.

Play and learning go hand in hand. While our storytimes are on break, join other families for a fun playtime (for ages 2-3) with books, toys, music, and all the room you need to learn through play. As Mr. Rogers said, "... for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."
