Không cần đặt hẹn, xin hãy vào gặp một hỗ trợ viên thân thiện và am hiểu, người sẽ giúp quý vị tìm ra câu trả lời cho những câu hỏi về thiết bị di động, trang web, tải nội dung hoặc thông tin, thiết bị đọc sách điện tử, bắt đầu làm quen với kỹ thuật và còn nhiều vấn đề khác. Hỗ trợ viên giúp quý vị trong 30 phút, trả lời câu hỏi và hướng dẫn sử dụng những thiết bị và ứng dụng khác nhau. 

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter, come join the fun as we learn together. All experience levels and ages welcome. Please bring your own supplies.

The classic beginning knitting project is a garter stitch scarf. In this class you can learn the basics you will need to make this scarf. These scarves are very handy to fight off the fall chill.

Supplies will be provided or bring your own. All ages are invited.

Use a Glowforge laser cutter to engrave and cut designs out of acrylic or wood, with assistance from staff and volunteers. No experience needed! A selection of laser-safe materials will be available for you to use.

Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens September 1.

As the daytime gets shorter towards the winter, it’s a perfect timing to fold origami lampshades! Instructor Yuki Martin will show you how to fold various kinds of lampshades, step-by-step. They will be illuminated by LED battery tealight candles (provided).

Test your video game skills in a friendly, high- energy competition. A different game will be selected each month. Sign-ups start 15 minutes before the tournament begins.

Join us at the Rockwood Makerspace to learn how to create beautiful wooden lanterns to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival. All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary! The library will provide the supplies and materials for lantern making -- note that there is a limit of two lanterns per family. Vietnamese and English language support will be available. Registration opens on Sept. 1.

Do you have knitting and/or crocheting projects that you’d love to get finished? Or new ones you want to start? Please join us for this social group on Tuesdays for yarn work and fun! Intermediate and more advanced crafters are welcome.

Step into the world of beats, rhythms, and melodies as you learn what it means to be a DJ. This program offers an immersive and hands-on introduction to the craft of DJing. Both tools of the trade and strategies of the art will be studied.

This event is first come, first served.

Tweens and teens in 6th, 7th and 8th grade, you are invited to talk about graphic novels, craft and eat snacks! All supplies provided and it’s FREE! Books are available for pick up at Fairview library.

At our first meeting in September we will VOTE on which books we will read throughout the year, and everyone will receive the October book.

Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Join us at the library for a journey into the world of video editing! Unleash your creativity and sharpen your editing skills by learning the fundamentals. Learn how to trim, transition and enhance your footage! Work on audio adjustments and more, all in a supportive community environment.
