Want to show employers you know how to use a computer? The library can help you earn free certificates through a program called Northstar Digital Literacy.
Northstar teaches computer basics and programs like Microsoft Excel through short, easy lessons you can work through at your own pace.
Here's what we offer:
- Free account setup: We'll help you create your Northstar account and get started right away.
- One-on-one help: A staff member will guide you through the program and answer your questions.
- Official certificate: When you're ready, our certified staff can give you the exam right here at the library so you get an official Northstar certificate.
No experience needed. Northstar is used at more than 3,000 locations across the country, and your certificates are free to keep.
