Join us for an opening reception for the Collins Gallery exhibit, what we hold & leave behind. Co-curated by photographer Jim Lommasson and poet Willa Schneberg, the reception will feature readings by many of the participants.
Their exhibit celebrates over twenty senior seasoned poets. Jim photographed special objects of these esteemed writers, encompassing what they carry inside — lives filled with creativity, work, intimacy, autonomy, family, place and loss. The object images are paired with their handwritten poems in the white space of the prints. Included are their actual physical objects, memorabilia and artist books.
