What happens when the world tells you to stay quiet, but you play anyway?
RISE! The Legacy of Black Guitar Heroes in Rock & Metal is a high-energy, kid-friendly program that introduces five legendary Black guitarists who shaped the sound of modern rock and metal music from Sister Rosetta Tharpe to Tom Morello.

Black History Month: Cooking History & Black Eyed Peas
Stones, Bones and Blacked-Eyed Peas presents: The historical and cultural significance of black eyed peas. Join chef and owner of Finer Things Events & Catering, Michelle Guinn, along with her daughter, Sable Askew and take a trip back into history. Enjoy a cooking demonstration using traditional foods and recipes cooked by African Americans from the time of slavery, and explore their many modern interpretations.

Join us for a special Black Family Storytime celebrating African American heritage, art and culture! Children from birth to age 6 (with a favorite adult and other family members), will have fun with books and stories, songs, a craft, and movement activities in a positive and affirming environment.

农历新年: Positive Kids Yoga Time (Lunar New Year)
Join us for Positive Kids Yoga Time with Ms. Lai! This session will share some of the cultural significance and traditions of the Lunar New Year. Kids will explore simple yoga poses and mindful breathing exercises with engaging stories, rhymes, and songs.
This program is intended for children ages 2 to 10 years old and their grownups.

This New Year, celebrate by making your own sticker, t-shirt or bag design. Learn how to use a Silhouette Cameo vinyl cutting machine and a heat press to print your favorite New Year patterns. Other creative materials and 3D pens will also available.

Enjoy the unique and relaxing sounds of the guzheng, also known as the Chinese zither, with expert musician Mr. Bi Hai.
