K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual
Virtual Tutoring is for Multnomah County students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies.
We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.
The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.
Teen Anime and Manga Club
View, review, snack and yak about all things anime and manga. We meet the fourth Thursday of the month to discuss our favorite series, choose something to read or watch together, do some art, and eat snacks!
Graphic Novel Club grades 6-8
Middle school students are invited to talk about comics and eat snacks! Every meeting includes a short activity related to this month's book. A limited number of books are available for pick up at the library.
Tabletop RPG Gaming: One Shots with Alife
If you are interested in exploring the world of Role Playing Games (RPGs), come to a “one-shot” session to learn and have fun with ALife! A one-shot is a roleplaying game session designed to offer an engaging play experience and tell a satisfying story within a single sitting.
Intended for youth 11 and up. Registration opens on February 3.
Queer Youth Club
A safe place where ALL are welcome to be themselves. Find support, eat snacks, get creative, discuss favorite books, and more! Bring a friend, or make a new one. For grades 5-8.
Queer Youth Club is a youth-run club for that unites LGBTQIA+ and allied youth from neighboring schools. Email alecc@multcolib.org for more information.

Black History Month: Oregon's Civil Rights Years with OBP
Join Oregon Black Pioneers for a lecture focused on the African American Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s and 1970s and the major changes brought to Oregon. Black communities in Portland, Eugene, and beyond participated in the fight for social and political progress. It addresses the racism, exclusion, and displacement that targeted Black Oregonians, and the Black community's efforts to pursue justice.

Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Everybody Reads: Resilient Path, Art Inspired by Lovely One
Join a wellness-based workshop inspired by Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s memoir, Lovely One. Reflect on themes of resilience, identity, and self-expression with The Lamb Art Studio. Learn quotes and moments from the book in a slideshow. Create symbolic artwork about personal growth, justice, or dreams for the future.
