Join us for a 45 minutes walking tour through the building.  No registration required. 

Do you like to game? Are you in middle or high school? If so, join our gaming club! We'll play games, talk about games and eat snacks.

Join The Fossil Team and travel back in time to explore a world long ago. Though different in age, animals had similar challenges! Examine prehistoric fossils and modern animal bones. Discover how animals adapted, competed, and survived in changing environments!

This program is first come, first served and is welcome to all ages.

Comics are a great way to tell stories and make people laugh, but did you know they can also bring positive change to the world? Join Wildfire cartoonist Breena Bard for this workshop demonstrating the basics of making comics, designing characters, and writing a script. Then put your skills to work to write a one-page comic about an issue you care about! Let's change the world, one comic at a time.  

Learn about herbs and essential oils that soothe and relax the body, mind and soul. We will make bath bombs, a soothing muscle soak for the bath, and a rejuvenating scrub.

Space is limited, and this program is intended for teen patrons. Registration is preferred but not required, andopens June 2nd. 

Gather your team of 2-4 for an exciting puzzle race! Compete against the clock and other teams to be the first to complete a 500-piece puzzle in under two hours. The fastest team wins a trophy and ultimate bragging rights!

Shalonda Menefee will introduce the art of hand-sewing with a project! Learn basic sewing techniques using needle and thread to create a pillow, stuffed animal, or doll. With stitching, stuffing, and finishing touches, make your own unique creation. This workshop fosters creativity, patience, and practical skills. Encourage self-expression through fabric and thread!

Step into the world of beats, rhythms, and melodies as you learn what it means to be a DJ. This program offers an immersive and hands-on introduction to the craft of DJing. Both tools of the trade and strategies of the art will be studied.

Tweens and teens are invited to learn to crochet! Make a small craft while learning about basic stitches, terminology, how to pick a needle and more. All materials and supplies are provided. Ideal for teens and tweens (ages 9-18).

Please arrive no later than 5 minutes late to minimize disruptions and ensure an engaged learning environment.

Use a 3D printer and get help from staff on creating a project of your choice (subject to time limits). No experience necessary! A selection of colors of PLA will be available for you to use.
