Did you know you’ve got access to a wealth of resources beyond what you can find on the shelves at the library?
Interlibrary loan allows you to request articles, books and more from many other libraries, for free (you can see the details here).
By the end of this class, you will:
- Have an interlibrary loan account,
- know how to request an item through interlibrary loan,
- use the Worldcat Discovery database to find resources and
- be able to find free material available through HathiTrust and the Internet Archive.
Please note that Interlibrary loan services are available to people who live or pay property taxes in Multnomah County, or who pay an annual fee for library services.
