The Library Music Project is a free online music platform that showcases and shares current local music. As part of a special cycle, we are accepting entries from Indigenous musicians, drummers and singers now through September 1. Enter your music to the Library Music Project.

To enter:

  • Tell us about you or your band and your connection to our music community
  • Share your Tribal or Indigenous affiliation
  • You must own or control all rights to everything you upload
  • If your work is selected, you agree to a license agreement with Multnomah County Library before your music is added to the collection
  • An honorarium will be provided to artists whose work is selected for inclusion in the collection

Enter your audio files now through September 1, 2024!

By participating in the Library Music Project, you can help boost your online presence and increase representation of Indigenous musicians in Multnomah County. Selected albums will be published on the platform November 2024 in celebration of Native American Heritage Month. The albums will remain in the platform after November for all users to enjoy.

There will be future solicitations for artists not meeting the criteria above. For now we are only looking for Indigenous musicians, drummers, singers or other types of cultural music performers in Multnomah County.
