Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Space is limited. Every tween must be signed up in advance to reserve a spot.

Join us in the East County Creative Learning Room to create, learn new skills, and connect with friends! Our sessions are perfect for kids in grades 4-6 (ages 9-12).

Tweens and teens in grades 5 - 8, come craft with us! All materials provided

Work on the DIY craft of the week, create your own project with the library's craft materials, or bring a project from home that you've been working on - art journal, embroidery project, book bedazzling, whatever's your thing! Sew, paint, glue, make, design; the sky's your limit.

Use a Glowforge laser cutter to engrave and cut designs out of acrylic or wood, with assistance from staff and volunteers. No experience needed! A selection of laser-safe materials will be available for you to use.

Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens September 9.

Become a creative game designer and invent original LEGO games with Journey to STEAM! From mazes and racing challenges to board games and video game levels, let your mind lead! End your class with an exciting expo to showcase your creation.

This program is intended for patrons in grades K-5. Space is limited.

Learn to prepare an existing model for 3D printing on one of the library's Bambu P2S printers, then start experimenting with 3D modeling. All materials will be provided.
