Come sing, listen, learn and celebrate. Join Karen Kitchen (Osage Nation) for this story hour featuring songs and books from Native cultures. Children, families, elders, aunties and uncles — everyone is welcome. Note there are also in person events with Karen, but this one is online! Register / join via Zoom.

Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.

The African and African American experience comes alive for children from birth to age 6 (with their favorite adult/family members). Have fun with books and stories, songs, and movement activities in a positive and affirming environment. Black Storytime builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten. Attendance is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Embark on a STEAM-powered adventure where kids design characters and build their own imaginative worlds! Using materials like wood pieces, cardboard, fabric, and more, participants will explore creativity and design principles while crafting unique characters and environments inspired by games like Minecraft or Pokémon.

Kids in grades 4-5 are invited to talk about graphic novels and eat snacks! Every meeting includes a short activity related to this month's book. A limited number of books are available for pick up at the library. This is in conjunction with Kenton Library's Tween Council.
