This month our book is The Moth Keeper, by K. O'Neill! Anya trains to take on the role of the Moth Keeper for her village, guiding the moths at night with a paper lantern to pollinate the Night Flower tree, which her village needs to survive. But wandering through the night alone with only the moths for company is lonely work; how will Anya deal with the toll of such a weighty, lonely job?

Our craft this month is making little LED paper lanterns! 3 Levels of Difficulty!

Every month, Middle school students are invited to talk about comics and eat snacks! Every meeting includes a short activity related to this month's book. A limited number of books are available for pick up at the library.
