The Black, African, and African American experience comes alive for children from birth to age 6 (with their favorite adult/family members). Have fun with books and stories, songs, and movement activities in a positive and affirming online environment. Black Storytime builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter, come join the fun as we learn together. All experience levels and ages welcome! Please bring your own supplies.

Kids in grades 4-5 are invited to talk about graphic novels and eat snacks! Every meeting includes a short activity related to this month's book. A limited number of books are available for pick up at the library.

¡Vengan a disfrutar y divertirse en este programa interactivo para niños de 0 a 6 años y sus cuidadores! Ofrecemos actividades que promueven la alfabetización temprana, leyendo libros, cantando, y jugando. La Hora de Cuentos virtual está diseñada para niños de edad preescolar y sus cuidadores. El programa es presentado en español y es transmitido a través de Zoom.

Come experience the Traveling Nature Museum with Portland Parks and Recreation! Gain appreciation for the wilderness with artful meditation and self expression. Craft a piece of nature to take home by making an outdoor journal with organic materials.

This program is intended for patrons ages 5-10 years old with a trusted guardian.
