Enjoy songs, rhymes, rhythm and dance in this active program for children ages 0 to 6 and their parents or caregivers. Attendance is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Toddlers (with a favorite adult) enjoy interactive stories, songs and games that encourage their emerging language skills. Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

Join the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Latino for a story time and fun hands-on activities. Local participants of the museum's Young Ambassadors Program will share two books: My Sister’s Quinceanera by Delia Ruiz and Elisa Chavarri, and Please Pass The Tamales by Silvia López and Mirelle Ortega, followed by hands-on activities designed Smithsonian Latino Museum.

Week 1: Process Art (making art just to make art)
Week 2: Lego Club (Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session)
Week 3: Take and Make Craft (start with us, take it home)
Week 4: STEAM Studio (create and explore using science, technology, engineering, art, and math)

The African and African American experience comes alive for children from birth to age 6 (with their favorite adult/family members). Have fun with books and stories, songs, and movement activities in a positive and affirming environment. Black Storytime builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten. Attendance is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Come to celebrate it with Multnomah County Library and craft a special lantern to take home! The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most celebrated holidays in China, Vietnam and other Asian countries. It is also known as the Moon Festival.

This event will be in Spanish. 

Kids, come learn the art of printmaking from artist Jess Graff. Design and create your own prints using repeat and mono-printing techniques. This program is aimed at kids in grades K-4.
