Becoming a library volunteer

We have volunteer opportunities at all 19 library locations and in many of our outreach programs. The time commitment and training depends on the position. Here are the steps to become a volunteer:

  1. Check out our available opportunities
  2. Did you find something you would like to do? Complete an application.
  3. Volunteer Services staff will review your application. We will schedule a short phone interview to talk with you about volunteering. On the phone call, we will answer any questions you may have and match you to a volunteer role.
  4. A volunteer coordinator will contact you and you will begin volunteering.
