This exhibition is open during Central Library's hours of operation.
Textiles are shared among every culture on earth. They represent varied points of view, traditions and techniques. Textiles are exchanged between generations, cultures and communities. This exhibition explores that exchange through the lens of Andrea Aranow and her collection, housed at Textile Hive.
“The same item viewed in the light of a different climate or time, in the midst of different media, or within any special frame, offers a new view.” - Andrea Aranow, fashion designer and textile collector
