I believe there is magic in the world -- hidden underneath, to the side, or up above… and often, in books. My favorites are filled with whimsy, adventure, and characters who are as ethnic- and ability-diverse as the people I meet in my world. I love picture books, children’s biographies about extraordinary people, middle-grade fantasy and horror, and teen books filled with magic realism. I love to read stories where the impossible is made possible; where there’s real danger in the world, but also a good dose of hope. Let me send some stories your way.
