This workshop will review some of the bodily processes (physiology) of stress in terms that are easy to understand. Participants can relate and share their experiences with different aspects of the stress response. The purpose of this interactive workshop is to increase awareness of the effects of stress, and of the basic nutritional and self-care habits that can help alleviate them. The workshop is designed to be interactive and empowering. Developed at the National College of Natural Medicine, this workshop is presented by graduating NCNM students. No aspect of the workshop covers disease or symptoms – the entire emphasis is on healthy physiology.
