What you should know about your library card

Please return or renew items on or before the due date.

Please tell the library about any email, phone number or address changes.

Please tell the library if your card is lost or stolen. You are responsible for all items checked out on your card.

Please pay any charges due. Unpaid charges may be turned over to a collection agency.

Access to computers, online magazines and newspapers, and other online resources and services are for personal use only. Access may not be given to another person, group or institution. Publishers of these resources may ask you for limited personal information or to create an account, and you may be subject to their privacy and use guidelines.

Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding what library items are appropriate for their children and to monitor the personal information they may share with online subscription databases and services. The library encourages parents to help their children choose items that match their own family’s values. This policy reflects the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights. It states that "...a person's right to use a library should not be abridged because of origin, age, background or views."
