Volunteer for the Library Advisory Board
Help shape the future of Multnomah County Library by volunteering for the Library Advisory Board. The Library Advisory Board is an important part of the library's governance, advising the Library Director and Multnomah County Library District Board on budgetary and policy decisions. The Library Advisory Board is searching for four new members, two youth members and two regular members. Individuals applying for a youth member position must be between the ages of 13 and 17. Library lovers with past civic or board experience are especially encouraged to apply. You can find more information about the Library Advisory Board on the library's governance web page. Please complete Multnomah County's Interest Form (PDF) for Citizen Advisory Boards and Commissions and mail it to the address on the form's second page.
The Library Advisory Board meets the second Tuesday of each month (any rescheduled dates are noted below) at 7:30 a.m. in the U.S. Bank Room at Central Library; these meetings are open to the public. (Please use the main entrance on SW 10th Ave.)
Note: If you have a disability and need accommodations for meetings, please call 503.988.5402 or 711. Please give 48 hours notice to allow us to better serve you.
