"Shakespeare’s First Folio: 1623–2023" Collins Gallery

This exhibition celebrates the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio, the earliest collection of his dramatic work. Without the book’s publication in 1623, nearly half of Shakespeare’s plays would have been lost, including Julius Caesar, Macbeth, Twelfth Night, and The Tempest. The show highlights Shakespeare’s legacy in the education and entertainment of young people, in film, and in popular culture.

AANHPI Heritage Month: Craft Sundays

Join us at Capitol Hill Library for a fun and enjoyable afternoon of crafting for all ages. We will celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander culture and achievements through art. Supplies will be provided for a different art project hosted on the first three Sundays in May (May 5, 12 & 19) from 12:30-4:30 pm.
