Bike Storytime
Celebrate National Bike Month in this special storytime featuring books, songs, and activities with a bike theme!
Free kids' bike lights for attendees while supplies last.
Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

Book Babies Playtime
Play and learning go hand in hand. While our storytimes are on break, join other families for a fun playtime (for ages birth - 1) with board books, toys, music, and all the room your baby needs to learn through play. As Mr. Rogers said, "... for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."

First come first serve/Đến trước tham gia trước, không phải ghi danh. May is National Bike Month, come to Rockwood Library and make a mini bike using old CDs and craft materials around the house. Tháng Năm là tháng Đi Xe Đạp Toàn quốc, cùng tham gia giờ thủ công tại thư viện Rockwood, tạo chiếc xe đạp nhỏ bằng đĩa CD và vài vật liệu quanh nhà. 12:00-1:30 giờ trưa

Practique inglés o español y ayude a los demás que están aprendiendo en un ambiente amable. Los participantes hablan la mitad del tiempo en inglés y la otra en español. Están bienvenidos los principiantes.
Practice English or Spanish and help other learners in a friendly atmosphere. Participants speak half the time in English and half in Spanish. Beginners welcome.

AANHPI: Origami Flowers / Spring Time Origami
Learn to make origami flowers, butterflies and other spring-themed characters. Come transform an ordinary piece of paper into a three-dimensional form!
This event is first-come, first-served for 25 attendees.
Makerspace drop-in for teens
What will you create? Bring your ideas and make them a reality with 3D printers, craft cutters, laser cutter, sewing machines, art supplies and more.
For teens in grades 6-12.
Buñuelos
¡Aprende hacer buñuelos! Buñuelos son riquísimos pedacitos de masa frita, espolvoreados de azucar y canela, o con jarabe de piloncillo, son tipicos durante dias de fiesta como Navidad o el dia de los Muertos. La inscripción se abre el 28 de abril.
Hora De Cuentos
¡Vengan a disfrutar y divertirse en este programa interactivo para niños de 0 a 6 años! Ofrecemos actividades que promueven la alfabetización temprana, leyendo libros, cantando, jugando y haciendo manualidades. Los padres de familia, hermanos mayores de 6 años y cuidadores son bienvenidos. Este programa se presenta en español.

Giờ Đọc Sách / Vietnamese Storytime.
Trẻ em từ 0-6 tuổi (đi kèm với người lớn) sẽ cùng nhau đọc sách, ca hát, và vui chơi với những hoạt động giúp các em phát triển kỹ năng ngôn ngữ và đọc viết.
Children from birth to age 6 (with a favorite adult) enjoy books, songs, rhymes and movement activities while building language and literacy skills.

Citizenship Class - 12 sessions
Learn about the process of becoming a citizen in a 12-week series of classes. Prepare for your citizenship interview. Study United States history and government for the examination. Classes are taught by a volunteer from SOAR Legal.

Music and Dance
Enjoy songs, rhymes, rhythm and dance in this active program for children ages 0 to 6 and their parents or caregivers. Older siblings welcome!
Attendance is limited to first come, first served. Please note: for health and safety reasons, maximum room capacity is 30 people. Please stay home if anyone in your family is sick.
