Research shows that children not only recognize race from a very young age, but also develop racial biases by ages 3 to 5. So how do we talk about race with young children? During this four-part series, we will explore how to approach talking about race with preschool-aged children, how you can use picture books as conversation starters, and have a chance for discussion and reflection. We will also share resources that will help continue the dialogue.
This is aimed at parents and caregivers of children 0-6 years.
