Smoke Screen

Smoke Screen is an art installation about the deaths of innocent people from the violent use of firearms. The 283 victims commemorated by this piece represent less than one-third of all deaths of indiscriminate mass shootings since 1966, the year of the University of Texas tower shooting.

The artist will host a reception on Saturday, June 1, 10 am-12 pm.

Bonnie Halfpenny received a BA in Fine Art from Arizona State University, with an Art Education Certification.

The exhibition is accessible during the library's hours of operation. Ask any staff person to open the room.
