The Prairie Blossoms

The Prairie Blossoms weave a colorful, compelling repertoire of American Indian songs and stories showcasing the beauty and diversity of ancestral and contemporary Native American music.Using voices, hand drums, assorted shakers and keyboards, the Prairie Blossoms honor our indigenous histories and rich Native cultural heritage.Songs are sung in their original languages, with context and translations provided in English.This musical journey highlights specific tribes from different geographic regions and includes social songs, planting songs, Ghost Dance songs, lullabies, and more.
