Read The Color of Water: A Black Man's Tribute to His White Mother by James McBride. “Who is Ruth McBride Jordan?” wonders her son. McBride has written an examination of race and identity and a loving tribute to his mother, a woman who would not admit she was white.

The group meets in the Mt. Bachelor Conference Room (Studio 1) on the second floor of Whole Foods Market, next door to the library.
