The Mindful Caregiver

When

Thu, Mar 07, 2019
5:30 to 7:30

Registration required.

Do you ever have moments when you wish your class were just a little more calm? Do you have children who have a hard time self-regulating? Do you ever wish you could have a full-blown tantrum just like your toddlers?

When there are challenges in the classroom (and in our lives), we can get stressed, and our stress can ripple back out to our kids. We’ll examine the impact of stress on our brains, our children’s brains, and our children’s behavior. We’ll explore strategies to manage our stress, and we’ll plan ahead to prevent the next big meltdown -- ours and theirs!
