Library Music Project: Ojos Feos

Ojos Feos

Ojos Feos is an all-original world music project, based in the Pacific Northwest, consisting mostly of musicians who have lived in developing countries. The music splices rock and blues with Afro-Latin rhythmic and linguistic flavors and is structured with an upbeat and driving tempo, in both a high energy and danceable style. The trilingual vocals are performed using elements of samba, reggaeton, cumbia, chachacha, flamenco, reggae, Cuban son and African highlife.

Performance made possible by The National Endowment for the Humanities Fund of The Library Foundation.
