Chat with an Account Services staff member. Ask questions about your library card or account, renew items and pay fines. We are available as often as possible from noon until 4 pm, Monday-Saturday. If the dot is green, please type your library account-related question in the box below.
If a staff member is not available to help, you may:
- send an email and we will contact you within the next two business days
- call Account Services at 503.988.5342 (option 2) during Central Library's operating hours
- stop by your neighborhood library
We respect your privacy
We may keep the text of your questions and our answers for the purposes of statistical reporting, research and training indefinitely, but we will never relate it to any personal information about you. If you give us your e-mail address so we can send you a transcript of your chat, we will delete it from our records after seven days. We will never send you unsolicited messages.
