We have a zine collection available for checkout at five of our locations: Albina, Belmont, Central, Hollywood and North Portland. The focus of the collection is to provide a showcase for local authors that produce zines on popular topics of interest to our community.

Hello Karen: How are you? The author of Fed Up: An Insider's Take on Why the Federal Reserve is Bad for America, Danielle DiMartino-Booth now is writing some economic and financial monthly newsletters that would be very useful for our community to have access to. She was one of the people sounding the alarm prior to the collapse of the housing bubble a few years ago. I don't know if what I'm referring to would fall in the "zine" category, but I wanted to mention it to you. Here's the link to her website and the subscription page: Website: Subscriptions: Thank you for your service.
Hi! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner! Thanks for the information. It's a very interesting subject. It looks like her current writing is more an online ongoing newsletter so unfortunately we wouldn't be able to add it to our zine collection. Thank you for contacting us and if you have any other suggestions, please let us know. Thanks again!
