Welcome to Volunteer Services! Each year, more than 1,600 community members donate their time, skills and talents to the Multnomah County Library’s locations and programs. What are some of the ways in which you can help out the library?
- Track down items placed on hold as a Search Assistant
- Check in books as a Branch Assistant
- Sell books at The Title Wave Used Bookstore
- Help the library with events as an Event Assistant
- Sign up younger kids and explain the game-board as a Summer Reading Assistant
- Teach basic computer skills as a TechnoHost
- Read to the elderly for our Visiting Voices program
