How to Play: Early Readers and Kids
Early Readers (Birth to Preschool)
1. Mark off a space on the path each time you read to your child for at least 15 minutes or try one of the other fun activities on the board.
2. When you finish a path, bring your child and gameboard to the library to select a prize. You must have your gameboard with you to receive a prize. When you finish all four paths, come to the library by August 31, 2008 to enter the Grand Prize drawing for a family vacation for four to Disneyland Resort. You also receive your choice of a T-shirt or a $5 bookstore coupon, AND a discounted $3.50 Oaks Park Deluxe Ride Bracelet coupon.
3. Finish the Bonus Path to earn a bookplate and a Book Buck to help buy books for kids and teens in homeless shelters and childcare centers.
Kids (K-6)
Each child may play the game only once. Participant must be present to select own prize.

- Read aloud to someone else.
- Visit the library's Web site: www.multcolib.org
- Attend a library event.
- Draw a picture about a book.
- Write a book review or poem. Submit it to the library's Web site.
- Help a friend sign up for Summer Reading.
- Watch a video or DVD based on a book.
- Get your own library card.
