What is a podcast?
A podcast is a digital audio file that can be downloaded to your computer or MP3 player. Many people choose to subscribe to podcasts using an RSS aggregator or iTunes, but you can listen to them directly from this website.
What types of podcasts can you find on this website?
Multnomah County Library is proud to offer library events, as well as, information about books and other library resources.
How do I listen to a podcast?
There are several ways to listen to Multnomah County Library podcasts:
- Click on the "POD" icon to listen at your computer. (It may take a few minutes to download.)
- Right-click on the file name (xxx.mp3) and choose "Save Target As..." then choose a folder on your computer and click on save. You can listen on your computer or save to an MP3 player. (Windows)
- Use an RSS aggregator to subscribe to podcasts. Click on the Subscribe button in the right-hand column and choose from one of the many subscription services. You may need to create an account first.
