Homebound Services
Can't come to the library? We can come to you. Our driver will bring books, both large print and regular print, and other library materials to your home.
Call our office at 503.988.5404 to arrange for any of these services.
- Books by mail
- Library Outreach sends books by mail free to outreach patrons.
- Home delivery
- Our driver can deliver books and other library materials, including videos and audiobooks on cassette or CD, right to your home. Outreach staff can help select books for you, based on your preferences. Deliveries are scheduled every two months.
- Talking Books and Braille Services at the Oregon State Library
- Talking Books and Braille Services at the Oregon State Library provides audiobooks and players to print-disabled Oregonians. You can reach them at 1.800.452.0292 from anywhere in Oregon.
- Adult care homes and assisted living facilities
- Library Outreach can bring an assortment of books and movies every two months.
- Retirement homes
- Library Outreach brings the library to 30 different retirement homes every month, providing a large selection of books, audio, and movies for residents to browse and check out.
