I liked this book because its almost like a mystery. Ivy and Ray's, the main characters, parents get sent to jail and they have to find out how to get them back. Later they find a secret hideout and overhear people talking and learn things they aren't supposed to learn. Later, their parents get out of jail. How? Read the book and find out. :)Alexis, 13

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!! Arriman the Awful, Wizard of the North, has discovered that he must marry. He decides to have a contest between the witches to see who can do the blackest magic. Will it be Mabel Wrack, the sea witch, Ethel Feedbag, the country witch, Nancy or Nora Shouter, irratable twin witches, Madame Olympia, the charming and very rich enchantress, or Belladonna, the white witch? Read this book and find out.Fiona, 11

by J.K. Rowling-
At the beginning of Harry's fourth year, you can already tell that this book with be different than the first three. Just a few chapters in, there is an attack at the Quidditch World Cup. The attack is made by Voldemort's followers, a group called Death Eaters. During Harry's fourth year, two other schools come for The Tri-Wizard Tournament. Only three wizards are supposed to be chosen, but mysteriously Harry's name is the FOURTH to be drawn from the Goblet of Fire. He must participate in three extremly dangerous tasks. But at the end of the book, when Harry is about to complete the thrid task, a terrible thing happens. Boy do I wish I could tell you. If you don't mind a spoiler, then look below. If you do mind, don't read the rest of my review.

Meanwhile, there is a mass break out of Azkaban Prison, and several of Voldemort's most dangerous followers (Death Eaters) have escaped! In a final showdown at the Ministry of Magic, good battles evil, but in the process a loved one dies. Read this book!!!!!!! Five stars!!!!!!! Another great installment of the Harry Potter books! If you like adventure and suspence, then you HAVE to read this, and all the other Harry Potter books, as well. One of the most special things about this specific book in the series is that you find out about Voldemort's past. Imagine: You get to find out about the evilset wizard of all time's childhood! If you haven't all ready read this book I won't tell you who died, but I will tell you that it is a very important character. DO NOT read this if you have not read the first five books!Marie, 11

My favorite part is when the kids in Room 3B march down the hall with fake animals like a parade. I like the book because Harry and Song Lee have a battle because Harry thinks Song Lee's dragon is stupid. He thinks its stupid because Song Lee says her dragon is nice because she likes the dragon in the book My Father's Dragon. Harry thinks dragons should only be scary.Jake, 8

I really like this book because there's a doggy in it and because I can read it; since it's an easy reader book. My favorite part was when Biscuit fell asleep in the little girl's bed. But I also really liked the part where Biscuit got a hug. The illustrator of biscuit is Pat Schories. I think that the pictures in this book are really good, because they show cute drawings of Biscuit on every page.Chloe, 6
J.K. Rowling -
This was the best Harry Potter book ever, and that is saying something. Harry, Hermione and Ron have dropped out of Hogwarts to look for horcruxes, and run into a lot of Death Eaters and Voldemort himself. The Deathly Hallows is also full of deaths, so I'm warning you now, don't read it if you've read the other ones and you hated the people dying, because there a lot of people dying in this one. Ages 9+ Don't read if you haven't read: Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of The Phoenix, and Half Blood Prince. 5 Stars!!!Marie, 11

Harry Potter and the Deathly HallowsJ.K. Rowling has done it again, but sadly for the last time. In the epic final installment of the Harry Potter series, the amazing author weaves such a tale so believable, so frightening that you will never want to stop until you find out the everlasting answer: Harry or Voldemort? Do not read unless you are 10 or older and have read the first 6!!! I am warning you now!Elise, 12

Heartland (series)When Emily wanted to work with a horse to help it recover from an accident, nobody wanted her near the dangerous horse alone but that was the only way she would be able to help it recover properly, so she did not listen to anyone who was not willing to encourage her to do something beneficial and helpful for the horse, so she just went on trying and ignoring everyone who just wanted to put her down, and eventually succeeded. I thought that was really inspirational because you should never give up on yourself and you should always have faith in yourself.Eden, 12

People who are interested in things that are eerie will love this book! There is a lesson in this book that will tell you about the importance of family. One of my favorite parts of the book was when the Baudelaires met the carnival freaks because they weren't freakish at all. The author was trying to tell us that if you're like the "freaks," you really aren't freakish to other people. The bigger message is that being a "freak" isn't bad.Victoria, 8
