Citizenship Classes

- Learn about the process of becoming a citizen
- Prepare for your citizenship interview
- Study United States history and government for the examination
- To become a citizen, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have lived legally in the United States for at least 5 years
- Be able to read, write and speak basic English
- Know basic United States history and government
- Be of good moral character
Classes are in English, and are taught by library volunteers.
