Mother Goose Asks "Why?" is a four-week program that trains providers and parents to use quality children's picture books to encourage children to explore the world of science around them. Mother Goose Asks "Why?" shows parents how to encourage their children's investigations and questions, skills which will help their children in school and throughout life. Parents receive a canvas bag with nine children's picture books, a science kit, and a family activity guide containing the experiments done in class.
You Can Count on Mother Goose is a four-week program that trains parents to encourage their children's literacy development and understanding of mathematical concepts through children's books and fun math activities. Concepts are discovered through daily living activities they can do with their children at home. They predict, sort, classify, examine and record their observations with everyday materials and activities. Parents receive a canvas bag with 10 children's picture books, a math kit, and a family activity guide.
