It's in the Bag
A collection of theme bags for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, It's in the Bag helps providers, educators and parents create an entire learning experience around a central theme. The preschool and toddler collections contain over 125 different theme bags in English and Spanish, and include three to five picture books, a related activity such as a toy, puzzle or flannel story and a curriculum guide. The curriculum is written so that even a beginning teacher can effectively use the materials.
Baby Bags are divided into three age groups: 0-6 months, 6-12 months and 12-18 months. Each Baby Bag contains helpful information about enhancing your baby's development and learning; parent resource books about the long-term benefits of talking, reading and providing nourishing stimulation to babies; lullaby and music tapes, baby board books, and a toy to encourage playful interactions with your baby.
These bags are available for check-out at the following libraries: Central, Gresham, Midland, Hollywood, Hillsdale and Holgate.
