About Northwest Library

Northwest Library opened in 2001 in a historic Northwest Portland building that has been home to a pharmacy, a potter's workshop and, most recently, a winery and café.

This library offers books as well as audio and visual materials, periodicals and electronic resources in English and Spanish that can be accessed on site or from a home computer. Northwest customers have access to Multnomah County Library's systemwide catalog of two million books and other library materials.

Check Event Finder for programs at Northwest Library. Northwest's meeting room is available at no charge for community meetings and events on a first-come, first-served basis. It has a 30-person capacity.
